Sunbaby terms of use

Effective November 2, 2026

Sunbaby is an iPhone and iPad app made by brito.ai ("we", "us"). Your use of Sunbaby is governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Apple EULA") together with these terms, which add a few things specific to Sunbaby. If the two conflict, the Apple EULA governs your licence to use the app. Our privacy policy explains how information is handled. By using Sunbaby or buying Sunbaby Plus, you accept these terms.

Not medical advice

Sunbaby gives general information to help you plan. It is not medical advice and does not replace a doctor, midwife, nurse or other health professional. Talk to your own care provider about your health and your baby's health. In an emergency, call 911.

Deadlines, benefit amounts, leave estimates and paperwork steps are general information drawn from official sources, with the date we last checked them. Rules change and every situation is different, so confirm with the official source before you rely on them. The money planner and leave estimates are not financial, tax or legal advice.

Sunbaby Plus

Sunbaby is free to download, and the free features stay free. Sunbaby Plus adds extra features for a price shown in the app before you buy:

Monthly and Annual are auto-renewing subscriptions. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. A subscription renews automatically for the same period at the current price, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
Free trial. Where a free trial is offered, its length is shown before you start. If you don't cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, the subscription starts and is charged. If you buy Plus during a trial, the unused part of the trial ends.
Lifetime is a one-time purchase that never renews.
Cancel anytime in your iPhone Settings: tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Sunbaby. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Plus stays on until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Refunds are handled by Apple under its rules, at reportaproblem.apple.com. This does not limit any refund right you have under the law where you live.
Family Sharing. Plus can be shared with up to five other members of your Apple Family Sharing group, so you don't pay twice.

If we ever change a subscription price, Apple tells you first and, where the law or Apple's rules require it, asks for your agreement. We won't move a feature that is free today behind Plus for as long as we offer it.

Your information

What you put in Sunbaby is yours. It is stored on your devices and in your iCloud, not with us, so keep your device and iCloud backed up. We can't restore data you delete. Export is free at any time.

You decide who to invite to your plan, and you are responsible for what you share. Anyone with your gift page link can see it, so share it only with people you trust. You keep ownership of what you put on a gift page. You allow us to store it and show it to anyone who has the link, only to run the page, until it is deleted. Don't put anything unlawful, hurtful or someone else's private information on a gift page. We may take down a gift page that breaks these terms or the law.

Store links

Sunbaby links to stores and official websites we don't control. We are not responsible for their products, prices, availability or content. Some store links carry a labelled affiliate code that may earn us a small commission, at no extra cost to you. Sunbaby never sells products itself.

Using Sunbaby fairly

Use Sunbaby for your own family and within the law. Don't try to hack, damage, copy or resell the app or its content, or interfere with other people's gift pages.

Our responsibility

We work hard to keep Sunbaby accurate and running, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, we provide Sunbaby as is, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made by relying on general information in the app instead of a professional. These limits do not apply to consumers in Québec to the extent the Consumer Protection Act prohibits them. Nothing in these terms limits rights you cannot waive under consumer protection laws, in Québec, in Ontario or wherever you live.

Apple

These terms are between you and us only, not Apple, and we, not Apple, are solely responsible for Sunbaby and its content. Your licence to use Sunbaby is limited to Apple-branded products that you own or control, as allowed by the Usage Rules in Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions, except that it may also be used by other accounts associated with you through Family Sharing. We are solely responsible for maintenance and support of Sunbaby, and Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for it. If Sunbaby fails to meet an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any; to the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for Sunbaby, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses caused by a failure to meet a warranty are our sole responsibility. We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party about Sunbaby or your possession or use of it, including product liability claims, claims that it fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar laws. If a third party claims that Sunbaby, or your possession and use of it, infringes their intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of that claim. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a United States government embargo or designated by the United States government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any United States government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You must comply with any third-party terms that apply when you use Sunbaby, such as your wireless data plan. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms, and once you accept them, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.

Governing law

These supplemental terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Apple's standard licence has its own clause on the law that governs the licence itself. Wherever you live, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer protection laws of your province, territory or state, and you may bring a claim in the courts where you live when those laws give you that right.

Changes

We may update these terms when Sunbaby's features, its prices or the law change. Before an important change takes effect, we will post the new version here with a new date and tell you in the app at least 30 days and no more than 90 days in advance, showing the new wording, the old wording and the date it takes effect. If you don't agree, you can stop using Sunbaby and cancel Plus. If you live in Québec, you may also refuse the change and end your contract with us without cost, penalty or cancellation fee within 30 days after it takes effect.
